This 6 week Hands-On series is designed for the beginner cook who wants to learn
the basics as well as the experienced cook who wants to hone their skills
In each class we cover the basics of cooking techniques, ingredients and
equipment that will help make you a more confident, capable cook.
Gain the confidence as you learn to cook, to try a new recipe or even cook without one.
Judy will thoroughly discuss all the recipes and different techniques involved. We will also focus on knife skills, ingredients, menu planning and equipment.
Makes a terrific gift for the holidays. It’s also a great to meet people. Come to one class or enjoy the whole series.
Week 1: Soups Stocks and Braising

Learn the basic stocks that are the foundation of so many recipes for soups and braised dishes.

Week 2: Sauces and Sautéing

Week 3: Roasting and Baking
