Croissants and Danishes 101

In this introduction class you will learn how to roll and fold dough with butter into a flakey pastry that you’ll love to enjoy every weekend. We’ll start the class with some premade dough that we will roll out and shape into perfect croissants before letting them proof for baking. While the dough relaxes we will head back to step one and make a dough and butter block from scratch and learn how to laminate it and create those fine layers to make a perfect breakfast pastry. Even if you can barely bake a cookie, you’ll walk away with some delicious pastries to enjoy at home and have the knowledge to make them again and again. Age 13 and up.
